Welcome! This blog was created to keep fueling my wish to one day be able to dance ballet, something I've wanted for many years now. I'm going to post blogs and updates about my search for dance classes, as well as anything I find inspiring... Thank you for dropping by!

are you gay? me too! here, i made this blog for us.

^ OK NO. IM ABOUT TO RANT. I hate hate HATE it when people assume male ballet dancers are gay. who gave you the right to just assume that? ballet is the most athletic art out there and just because of that you think it’s ok to stereotype males? HECK NO. this guy is probably more dedicated, in shape, and I’m assuming a lot more attractive than you ever will be. so stop stereotyping and self promoting yourself on this beautiful pictures. ok sorry I had to rant because typecasting male dancers is possibly my least favorite thing someone could do.

YES UGH and for the record i know this guy and i’m postive he’s not gay ^^u

Always good to see nice new face.

Arina Varentseva, who made her debut in the title role in Bournonville’s La Sylphide this week, will next dance this role at the Mariinsky Theatre on Wednesday, April 10. Anton Korsakov will be her partner in the role of James. Arina Varentseva graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in 2012 and joined the Mariinsky Ballet the same year. I think you should get your blood value checked.

Maybe I should do that… Thanks, Anon! I’ll give my mom a poke about it when I get back home.

I don’t get it…

I’m currently sitting down and watching everyone else practice the new steps. Why? Because I feel so completely out of it and I don’t even know why.

It’s been like this for the past few times; my body and mind isn’t cooperating. My body feels heavy, more untrained then ever before. My mind can’t keep up either. It’s like… My vision keeps going out of focus and I see white spots, sort of. That usually only happens when I stand up too quickly and it seriously feels like I’m about to faint at times.

I don’t get what’s going on with my body, and it kinda scares me…
